Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science from a recognized university
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Government rules
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Age Limit (as on 30-12-2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
Age Relaxation:
- General Category Female: 5 Years
- Reserved Category Male/Female: Up to 10 Years
- PwD Candidates: Up to 15–20 Years (category-wise)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
Salary / Pay Scale
- First 5 Years: Fixed pay of ₹26,000 per month
- After 5 Years: Pay Scale ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-2) as per 7th Pay Commission
