Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience

Assistant Finance Officer:

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in educational institution/Government/Semi Government/Public or Private Enterprises/Firms.
• Experience in:
  • Periodic internal audit
  • Budget preparation and execution
  • Reconciliation of accounts and submission of financial progress reports
  • Monitoring and maintenance of store and fixed asset registers
  • Statutory audit matters
• Sound knowledge of procurement/tendering and GEM application operations.
• Attended at least two accounting workshops from recognized institutions.
• Excellent knowledge of MIS reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of the latest version of Tally and GST.

Desirable:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• Proficiency in English and Gujarati.
• Valid CCC certificate.
• Knowledge of UGC, RTI, Government regulations, NAAC norms.

Age Limit

• Preferably below 60 years as on the last date of application.
