The recruitment is for Municipal Sanitary Inspector Grade-3 (Varg-3) under the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department. A total of 75 vacancies are open, with category-wise reservations as per government rules including SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, and PwD candidates.

The recruitment will be conducted through an objective-type competitive exam.

Eligibility and Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

1. Passed Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
2. Minimum one-year Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma from a recognized institution or
   one-year certificate from ITI or other government-recognized institutions.
3. Basic knowledge of Computer Applications.
4. Proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi.

Nationality:

• Must be an Indian citizen or hold nationality as per rules under Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

Age Limit:

• Age must be 18 to 33 years as of 15/09/2025.
• Relaxations as per category:
  • General women & reserved category candidates: +5 years
  • Reserved category women: +10 years
  • PwD candidates: up to +20 years depending on conditions.
  • Ex-servicemen: additional relaxation up to 3 years.

Salary:

• ₹26,000 fixed for the first 5 years.
• After satisfactory service, eligible for pay scale of ₹25,000 to ₹81,100 as per government norms.

• Mathematics – 30 marks

Part B (150 marks):

• Constitution, current affairs, language comprehension – 30 marks
