Selection Details & Merit Criteria
As per the State Tax Inspector, Class-III Competitive Examination Rules, 2018, the merit list has been prepared based on:
- Total 400 marks of the Main Written Examination
- Merit decided on aggregate marks of all four papers
- 20% waiting list prepared as per rules
- Reserved category candidates qualifying without relaxation considered under MRC (Meritorious Reserved Category)
- Bonus marks applied for Sports Persons and Widow candidates as per government resolutions
- In case of tie, elder candidate given preference
