Educational Qualification

As per the recruitment rules:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology from a recognized university.
2. Basic Computer Knowledge (as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967).
3. Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years (as on 05/12/2025)

Age Relaxation (as per rules)

• General Female: +5 years
• Reserved Category Male: +5 years
• Reserved Category Female: +10 years (max 45 years)
• PwD Candidates: Up to +20 years (max 45 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years

Salary

• First 5 years: Fixed pay of ₹40,800/- per month
• After successful completion of 5 years →
  Pay Level-6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (as per 7th Pay Commission)

• Numerical Ability – 30

Part B – MCQ (150 Marks)

• Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30
• Subject-Related Questions (Social Work/Sociology/Psychology) – 120

Total Questions: 210
Duration: 3 Hours
Negative Marking: ¼ per wrong answer
Qualifying Marks: 40% in Part A & 40% in Part B (for all categories)
