Eligibility, Educational Qualification & Experience

As per the official notification:

Educational Qualification

1. HSC (Class 12th) Pass from a recognized board.
2. 6-month Fireman Certificate Course from a State/Central Government recognized institute.
   OR
   Fireman or Driver-cum-Pump Operator Course Certificate from a recognized institute.
3. Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License (HMV) is mandatory.
4. Basic Computer Knowledge as per Government norms.
5. Should know Gujarati and/or Hindi language.

Candidates will be rejected if they have:

Knock Knee, Pigeon Chest, Squint Eye, Flat Feet, Varicose Veins, Hammer Toes, Fractured Limb, Decayed Teeth, Communicable/Skin Diseases.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years

Age Relaxation

• Female (General): +5 years
• Reserved Category (Male): +5 years
• Reserved Category (Female): +10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service years + 3 years

Age will be calculated as on 23 December 2025.

Salary

As per the Finance Department rules:

• First 3 Years Fixed Pay: ₹26,000/- per month
• After successful completion of 5 years (subject to rules):
  Pay Matrix Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)

Selection Process & Syllabus

Selection will be done through:

1. Competitive Written Exam (CBRT/OMR)

The exam will have two parts:

Part-A (60 Marks)

• Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation – 30 Marks
• Numerical Ability – 30 Marks

Part-B (150 Marks)

• Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30 Marks
• Subject-related questions – 120 Marks

Total Questions: 210
Duration: 3 Hours
Negative Marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• 40% in Part-A
• 40% in Part-B

2. Document Verification

Final merit will be based on written exam marks only.
