Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Executive Branch

• GS(X) / Hydro Cadre: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
• Pilot: BE/B.Tech with 60% marks + 60% in Class X & XII and English
• Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer): BE/B.Tech
• Air Traffic Controller (ATC): BE/B.Tech
• Logistics:
  • BE/B.Tech / MBA / MCA / MSc(IT) / BSc / BCom with PG Diploma (First Class)

Education Branch

• MSc / MA with minimum 60% in:
  • Maths / Physics / Operational Research
  • Meteorology / Oceanography / Atmospheric Sciences
• BE/B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Engineering / Computer / Electrical disciplines
• Minimum 60% in Class X & XII and English

echnical Branch

• Engineering (GS): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, Metallurgy, etc.
• Electrical (GS): BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Power, Instrumentation
• Submarine Branch: Only for men (specific streams)

Salary / Pay Scale

• Rank: Sub Lieutenant
• Approximate starting salary: ₹1,25,000 per month
• Additional allowances:
  • Flying Allowance
  • Submarine Allowance ₹31,250 (if applicable)
