Eligibility & Educational Qualification
For Additional Chief Fire Officer
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree with Divisional Officer/Fire Prevention Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur, OR
- BE/B.Tech (Fire/Fire & Safety), B.Sc (Fire/Fire & Safety) from recognized university.
- Experience: At least 7 years service experience in Fire Brigade, including 3 years as Station Officer/Asst. Divisional Officer or equivalent in Govt./Local Bodies/Corporation/Company.
- Other Requirements:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
- Must meet prescribed physical & medical standards (height, chest, weight as per Appendix-A).
For Deputy Chief Fire Officer
- Same educational and physical qualifications as Additional Chief Fire Officer.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years Fire Brigade service, with 3 years in supervisory role (Station Officer/Asst. Divisional Officer).
